Cactus with Macro Extension Tube & 10X Magnification Filter

I was so excited after finding that the Macro Extension Tube and 10X Filter could be combined with some success. I decided to look around and find something to take a picture of with the new setup. Here’s a picture of a tiny cactus we have in our kitchen window. Even though this cactus is tiny, only a very small and very magnified portion is in this non-cropped frame.

This new setup is going to be fun! Now I just need a bug that will sit still while I hold a bright shop light over it and fiddle with focus for 5 minutes before snapping the picture. Maybe I need to keep working on it…
