There have already been a couple of blog entries here about the Northern Cardinal that lives in some Leyland Cypress at our house and the troubles I’ve had photographing it. One was called Room for Improvement and the other is called Clifford the Northern Cardinal. In the latter my daughter named our Cardinal Clifford. But this is another bird.
I had been with my sister Becky visiting my parents at their new home. As we came out and walked to our cars I spotted this guy in a tree beside the parking area. This was Thursday the 2nd of February 2012. I had been taking pictures all day so my camera was in my truck. I rushed over and got my camera out. The bird had moved but only a few feet. I was able to get a couple of pictures of it before it got camera shy.
As always, you can click on the images to see a full size version. You will see much more detail in the full size version.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
