House Finch Nestlings

I discovered these very young House Finch nestlings on March 28th 2012. I made this photo using my 50mm f/1.8 lens and a 10x Macro Filter. This image is of an area in the nest about two inches across!

I’ll attempt to revisit this nest from time to time. According to Wikipedia, they will fledge after 11 to 19 days. Hopefully I’ll photograph them at least a couple more times during that time.
